About Wednesday's Trip

More than 10 years since its founded, Wednesday's Trip had transformed from a Trip-hop/Indie Pop band to one of the most influential electro live projects in China. Their debut album Secret Mission (2005) was reviewed as the first Chinese dream-pop record, which also won the nomination of The Best New Band Of The Year by the Pepsi Music Charts Awards. In 2012, the EP “五行”（Five Elements，nominated as the Best Electronic Record of the Year）, brought an unexpected change in genre to their old fans. Their live shows combining with high-energy and tranquility received tons of compliments from both audience and insiders. From trip hop to ambient, from breakbeat to deep house and dubstep, various styles are mixed with beautiful melody and story-telling lyrics that endow their music a mystic and surrealistic atmosphere with the touch of both ethnicity and modernity.
