Ding Ke

Piano and string music are a dominant part in his life. These wonderful sounds create a movie-like atmosphere. He’s deeply influenced by minimalism music, which makes his music full of classical, post rock and ambient musical elements. His early works like “Bird”, “Orange” are mixed with a sad piano melody and his depressive and seductive voice, which makes people fall right into the music. If we must label his music with color, it must be black and white only. The piano slowly starts with the alternative string music, along with the vocal, which is quite similar with the long shots of early black-and-white film.

Ding Ke is absolutely a pure person. The second album that Ding and Fog worked together “Bright mirror” was published by TreeMusic. After that, the instrumental only music album “OUR HOME” and “My High School Years” were also released at the end of 2013.
